Who is “AJ Wray Financial”?

It’s us! This is simply our corporate name. We are licensed with Desjardins Financial Security Investments Inc. (DFSI) and Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network (DFSIN). “A” is for Anthony (or Tony) and the “J” is for Joshua.

TONY WRAY

I am married with two adult children (no grandkids yet). My commitment to family and community remains to be a priority in my life. Part of my approach is to have a healthy balance between my family life, community involvement and my career. I have been with Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network and Desjardins Financial Security Investment Inc. for the last 26 years, with 26 years of previous sales and management experience. I enjoy working with and helping people plan their financial future.

My volunteer activities include finance work at the local church where my wife and I attend. I enjoy skiing, martial arts, baseball and reading. I am also a member in good standing of ADVOCIS, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada. Currently, I hold my Mutual Funds license in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. On the insurance side, I hold my license in British Columbia and Ontario.

Trusting an advisor with your personal finances, for most people is easier said than done. I understand this and work at earning my client’s trust. The overriding principles, on which I form the basis of my conduct in relationships with other people, in both my professional and personal life, are honesty and integrity.

I always put my client’s needs ahead of my own, and I will always provide my clients with the most straight forward, caring and professional advice available.

JOSHUA WRAY

I graduated 2019 with a B.A. from Brock University St. Catharines, Ontario while playing Varsity Baseball on an athletic scholarship. My passion has always been in baseball, and I continue to stay involved in the sport by coaching youth & high school baseball during my spare time.

After completing my bachelor’s degree at Brock University and retiring from my competitive baseball career, I joined the Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network (DFSIN) as an independent Financial Advisor. I currently hold my Mutual Funds license in British Columbia, and Insurance license in British Columbia and Alberta.

I am proud to be a part of a great team at AJ Wray Financial, and I am excited to contribute to our team’s future success.

JOYCE FRANCISCO

Administrative Assistant

I have been with DFSIN and DFSI and our team since 2014.

I provide administrative support to all of our clients. Whether you need help tracking down a tax form, completing an application form, produce simplified reports or need an update on a pending transaction I can assist you.

Helping clients is a great privilege. I love seeing our clients succeed not just in their financial lives but also in their personal life goals as well.

My primary role is to ensure that each of our clients’ financial questions and needs are addressed in the timeliest manner possible.
